The year 2011 would be the year of Tablet phones. Apple unveils iPad 2 after the success of Apple iPad previous version. In the gadget world this era is of Tablet Phone. Playing video game on Tablet device is amazing experience, you can buy video games online directly on your tablet devices. First Apple comes in tablet phone and launched Apple iPad and sales above 15 million of pieces, then Samsung, BlackBerry and Motorola came in tablet world and Samsung came with Galaxy Tab P1000, BlackBerry with PlayBook LTE and Motorola with XOOM MZ601.

Comparison between Galaxy Tab, XOOM, iPad 2 and PlayBook

When talking about which one is better than other according to features Samsung Galaxy Tab has mind-blowing features than other Tablets.

SMS and MMS:
All tablets don’t support GSM voice communication, SMS and MMS but Galaxy Tab P1000 is the only tablet with support for GSM voice communication, SMS, and MMS.

Availability:
Motorola XOOM, Galaxy Tab and Apple iPad are in the market and Apple iPad 2 launched today and will be shipping from last of the month of March but BlackBerry PlayBook LTE status is coming soon and expected to release on second quarter of 2011.

Weight:
On weight here is also Galaxy Tab is lighter than other tablets as Galaxy is just 380 gms and PlayBook of 425gms, iPad 2 of 607gms and XOOM of 730gms.
Screen:
Here XOOM wins on screen as it has touch screen of 10.1 inches larger than others as Galaxy has 7.0 inches, PlayBook has 7.0 inches and iPad 2 has 9.7 inches.

Memory:
XOOM has bigger memory space than others as it has max internal of 64 GB with card slot support up to 32GB and after that Galaxy with 32GB internal with external 32GB supports, PlayBook and iPad 2 don’t have card slot for external memory but has max internal of 64GB.

Data:
All tablets support 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity but Motorola XOOM wins here with max speed with 10.1 mbps behind it Galaxy Tab of speed 7.2 mbps.

Camera:
BlackBerry PlayBook has much better camera than other tablets, it has 5 MP primary with 3 MP secondary camera, XOOM has 5 MP of primary and 2 MP secondary camera with dual LED flash and Galaxy tab has 3.15 MP primary and 1.3 MP of secondary with LED flash but Apple iPad 2 has just 0.7 MP of primary and secondary.

Operating System:
Samsung Galaxy Tab works on Android v2.2 (Froyo), PlayBook on its own BlackBerry Tablet OS, Apple iPad 2 on iOS 4 and XOOM works on Android v3.0 (Honeycomb). All tablets work on different types of operating system and all has different interface and applications.

Other Features:

Samsung Galaxy tab has list of many exciting features like Digital compass, TV-out, Adobe Flash 10.1 support, Voice memo/dial/commands, A-GPS support and many others.

BlackBerry PlayBook has downloadable games, Micro HDMI port, and Adobe Flash 10.1 support and has 1.0 GHz dual-core processor.

Apple iPad 2 has iBooks PDF reader, TV-out, Up to 10h movie playback, with A-GPS support and Downloadable, incl. motion-based and has Dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor, Apple A5 chipset.

Motorola XOOM has Digital compass, Adobe Flash Player 10.1, Up to 10 hour video playback, HDMI port, downloadable games and has 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 AP20H Dual Core processor.
