It is out that Panic Software has announced a new version of its great coding program now called Coda 2 for Mac and iPad which is going to launch on 24 May 2012. The greatest web coding tool is created to run on Apple’s iPad tablet, and takes advantage of the new iPad’s retina display. On the same day Panic Software is also releasing Diet Coda for the iPad on the App Store as well. Diet Coda is a version of the editor engineered for the iPad itself, and not only brings the best of Coda’s features to Apple’s tablet, but also works with a Coda 2 installation for “AirPreview”.
Coda 2 carries hundreds of features which include a code editor, CSS editor, MySQL editor and terminal and file access also. This software is completely redesigned. Panic Software uttered that, “Coda 2 represents an incredible overhaul of every facet of our venerable all in one web code editor. It’s a release packed with tons of improvements that will make you more efficient and faster at your job. And on top of that, it’s got brand new features that will make it an even more indispensable part of your process. Diet Coda takes everything we’ve learned about web code editing, and shrinks it down into the beauty and simplicity of iPad. The perfect companion to Coda literally, since the two can work together, it’s the ultimate way to make quick fixes while you’re traveling light.”
This new application will be available in the market at the price of $9.99. You can get it directly from Panic Software or via the Mac App Store on half price at the first 24 hours.
