Now days one of the hottest news in the world of sports is that Sachin Tendulkar would be eligible to get Bharat Ratna Award. It is big relief to the Sachin’s fan who has been demanding for that from a long time.
Bharat Ratna which is theRepublicofIndia’s highest civilian award, awarded for the highest degrees of national service in the field of human endeavor.
Sachin has great moves in his life as in very early stage, he attended MRF Pace Foundation to train as a fast bowler but DENIS LILLEE suggesting him to focus on his batting instead. Then he does the same and practices for many hours a day. In 1988, Tendulkar scoring a century in every innings he played and made many long partnerships with their team mates. Till now he already made lots of records which are well known by all and not need to be described.
In 2008, Tendulkar was honored with the Padma Vibhushan,India’s second highest civilian award. Recently a research report inAustraliadescribed Tendulkar as the greatest ever batsman ahead of even Sir Donald Bradman which must be a great complement to him.

David Beckham is among the favorites to win the 2012 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award. His full name is David Robert Joseph Beckham and he is an association footballer who plays midfield for Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer, previously played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, and A.C. Milan, as well as the England national team, for which he holds the all-time appearance record for an outfield player.
Beckham’s started his career by signed a professional contract with Manchester United, making his first-team debut in 1992 aged 17 and devoted his services to United and won the Premier League title six times at that time. In international football, Beckham made hisEnglanddebut on 1 September 1996, at the age of 21. He also played as a Captain for 58 times.
Well there are also some other contenders who are standing in the way against Beckham to win the award.
