Are you looking for new PocketBook? Stay tuned with us, now PocketBook has announced that they will be launching its eReader in 2013. It is quite classy device capable to display thousands of multiple colours.
The new PocketBook eReader carries 8 inch wide screen which is equipped with a 800 x 600 resolution screen capable of displaying 4096 colours. It has Colour E-Ink display which works a lot like grayscale E ink screens. It is illuminated from ambient light instead of a backlight and this ambient light saves power and built long life battery. The PocketBook eReader has a front lit screen and a capacitive touchscreen along with WiFi connectivity.
But colour E Ink screens doesn’t look very good as compared to the LCD and AMOLED, or other displays. PocketBook explains a little more about the Front lit technology included in the eReader, “Special sensory area upon a display – the first time implemented in such type of devices innovation –needs to be stressed upon. This area responds to touch, which lets you control the frontlight without rummaging in menus. Thus, all night reading fans will now be able to control the intensity of light just softly touching product’s frame.”
